Simple....

I reeeeally like this ...not your everyday chocolate packaging; something a little quirky to make you feel that little bit more special when indulging in the naughtiness!

When i'm thinking 'simplicity' it seems the Nike adverts are one the first things thats spring to mind!

These are some graphics on the website for the graphic design company

These are a few photographs from this site. I particularly like the simplistic layout design on this website;  it may be simple but it is effective at conveying information.

'Part sustainable water company, part art project, part philanthropic project, and completely curious. Boxed Water Is Better, is a boxed water company.   Started with the simple idea of creating a new bottled water brand that is kinder to the environment and gives back a bit – we found that it shouldn’t be bottled at all, but instead, boxed. So we looked to the past for inspiration in the century old beverage container and decided to keep things simple, sustainable, and beautiful.'

These 'Dieline' wine bottles are extremely simplistic with their white base and minimal detailing ..yet they intrigue the consumer with their individuality.

The Pantone Mugs are designed by Whitbread Wilkinson. The mugs have a vibrant colour theme based on the world renowned colour authority Pantone Colour charts and the designs include the individual pantone colour reference and number.

Mike Lemanski.
Working predominantly with gouache, vectors, pencil and ink he prints these visual identities. He proposes that 'design should be timeless' and approaches his work 'within the idea that design is art.' His use of crisp vectored imagery and simple colouring keep this belief alive.

outside the box from joseph Pelling on Vimeo.

I came across this video last year; it has been made by a Joseph Pelling of Kingston University. The way he has used a simple concept of 'thinking outside the box' and then experimented with the ideologies behind it to create this thought provoking video is utterly compelling.

Designed by Carli Shipley in an effort for push forward the concept of reuse rather than recycle. This packaging solution is aimed to allow the customer to send back the self addressed box it was bought in. I think this is a very innovative idea and would also help people to save money.

This is how Nooka decided to showcase their new colour range for their watches the Autumn. This very simple concept of capturing the colour dribbling over a natural form also creates a conflict that highlights the modernisation of their range of watches.

I really like this look and concept Helsinki based BOB Helsinki designed for Prism; a Concentrated Hair Color Pigment for professional use. I especially admire the way in which he has played on the fact that this product has visually vibrant colouring; using clear packaging to maximise the effects of this.

This CD packaging is cleverly designed to a minimal effect yet concisely conveys the necessary information.
